Referral Policy
EspañolLast updated: June 8, 2026
At Marsu Media, we value the trust our clients place in us. Our referral program is our way of recognising and rewarding those who actively recommend us to other businesses or professionals.
1. What counts as a referral?
For a person or business to be considered a referral, all of the following conditions must be met:
- The referred party must be someone Marsu Media has had no prior contact with.
- The referring client must have actively recommended our services to them.
- The referred party must contact us on their own initiative as a direct result of that recommendation.
Not considered a referral: any contact that Marsu Media meets through its own means while delivering services to a client. For example, if during a project we come across a supplier, collaborator, or partner of the client, that contact is not a referral — the discovery happened independently, not through an active recommendation.
Considered a referral: any person or business we had no prior knowledge of, who contacts us because a client of ours explicitly told them about us. When in doubt, the referrer should let us know the potential referral's name before they contact us, or the referred party should clearly mention who recommended them during their first contact with us.
2. Referral commission
For each referred client who engages our services, the referrer will receive a commission of 15% of the net profit that Marsu Media earns from the projects or services delivered to that referred client.
The commission is subject to the following conditions:
- Per-project cap: The maximum commission per individual project or order is €150. If the net profit from a project exceeds €1,000, the cap applies instead of the percentage. For example, a project with €3,000 in net profit generates a commission of €150, not €450.
- No cap across multiple projects: If the referred client commissions several separate projects, the 15% commission (with its €150 per-project cap) applies independently to each one.
- Variable profit: Net profit depends on the type of project and associated costs, so the exact commission amount cannot be guaranteed in advance for one-off projects. For fixed monthly retainer services, the calculation is more predictable.
3. Programme duration
The commission applies for the 12 months following the date on which the referred party becomes an active client of Marsu Media. All projects or services closed within that period generate commission for the referrer.
After that year, additional projects from the same client do not generate new commissions unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. When the commission is paid
The commission is paid to the referrer once the corresponding project has been completed and the refund or dispute window has passed. This ensures that commissions are based on income that has been effectively collected and settled.
Marsu Media will notify the referrer of the commission amount generated and the expected payment date. Payment is made by bank transfer or another method agreed with the referrer.
5. How to participate
For a referral to be formally recognised, at least one of the following conditions must be met:
- The referrer informs Marsu Media of the potential client's name or contact details before that person contacts us.
- The referred party explicitly mentions the referrer's name during their first contact with us.
It is not possible to claim a referral commission retrospectively if neither condition is met at the time of first contact.
6. General conditions
- The referral programme is exclusively available to current or past clients of Marsu Media.
- Marsu Media reserves the right to modify or discontinue this programme at any time, without affecting commissions already earned and pending payment.
- Any attempt to manipulate or defraud the referral process will automatically invalidate the commission.
